Eishtec Easter Egg Appeal Brings Smiles to Many Little Faces!
Eishtec was thrilled with the generosity of our staff members over the last two weeks with our now annual Easter Egg Appeal. All four of our offices in Waterford, Wexford, Clonmel and Craigavon took part in the Easter Egg Appeal to collect eggs and raise money for treats for local Children’s wards.
Each office was overwhelmed by the amount of Easter eggs and donations received from staff members. The Children's Wards at University Hospital Waterford, Wexford General Hospital, Clonmel General Hospital and Craigavon Paediatric Centre were filled with excited faces as the Easter Bunny arrived early. Baskets of chocolate eggs and gifts were specially delivered by staff of Eishtec in each hospital.
Catherine Sheridan our Head of Training, Process and HR said “With Easter approaching the staff wanted to do something special for the community and came up with the idea of treating the children who will be in hospital over Easter. All the employees really got behind the initiative and donated Easter eggs or contributed to a fund for non-edible treats, as not all children on the ward will be able to have chocolate at this time. All in all we assisted the Easter bunny in delivering eggs and toys, colouring books and comics. We were delighted with the response from other companies such as Cahill’s in Tramore and Auntie Nellies in Wexford who also contributed when they heard about our Easter appeal”.
Eishtec would like to thank all our staff for their donations and we hope they all feel that extra bit special this weekend knowing that they contributed to making some deserving children feel a little better this Easter.
